When someone seems interested… but never makes plans.

One of the more confusing dating situations happens when someone seems very interested…

but the relationship never quite moves forward.

The messages are frequent.

The conversation is engaging.

They ask questions and stay in touch.

And yet, when it comes to actually spending time together, the plans remain vague.

“We should get dinner sometime.”

“We should do that soon.”

But the plans rarely become specific.

When this happens, many women begin trying to interpret the situation.

Maybe he’s busy.

Maybe he moves slowly.

Maybe things will pick up soon.

But there’s an important distinction that can bring clarity.

Attention and investment are not the same thing.

Attention shows up through communication.

Texts.
Messages.
Conversation.

Investment shows up through momentum.

Making time.

Creating plans.

Allowing the relationship to exist in real life.

When someone truly wants to build a relationship, that momentum usually becomes visible fairly quickly.

Not perfectly.

But steadily.
